How to enjoy Cabo

From angling to adventure and sunbathing to spas, the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula provides plenty of opportunities to luxuriate in your personal passion

  • For a view that will stay will you long after you leave, visit the spectacular cliff edge rock formation of El Arco at sunset
  • Wander the cobbled streets of the quaint San Jose del Cabo to find silver artisans, boutiques and charming restaurants
  • Known as the Marlin Capital of the World, there are plenty of opportunities to flex your muscles against various kings of the sea, from swordfish to mahi mahi

Cabo San Lucas, usually just known as Cabo, or as Los Cabos when combined with neighbouring San José Del Cabo is a world class destination of sandy beaches, stunning scenery, wonderful weather and refined hospitality. Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, the waters are rich in marine life.

Scuba diving is excellent here, as are the opportunities for whale watching, adrenaline drenched sport fishing and more sedate glass-bottom boat tours. You can usually tell a town by its golf courses. Here you will find championship fairways and courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent Jones II and Tom Weiskopf. Enough said.

    When to visit Cabo

In the winter, whale pods can be seen as they migrate from the cold seas off Alaska and Siberia to bear their calves in the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez.
